Good powers Dysarts to 12-11 win over Kiwanis

Saturday in Majors baseball action, Daniel Good powered Dysarts to a 12-11 win over Kiwanis with two home runs, a double, and six RBIs on the day. Ryan Manning was the winning pitcher.

Good led off the bottom of the first with a solo home run. Kiwanis took the lead with four runs in the top of the second on hits by Vince Gilmore, Austin Ivey, Tyler Lord, and Richie Rawcliffe. Dysarts battled back with three runs on a Jacob Forsman single, a walk to Justin St. Peter, and a 2-run double by Good, who also scored on a fielders choice.

Kiwanis scored again in the top of the fourth inning on two walks and a single by Gilmore. Dysart's answered with three runs in the bottom half of the inning with a walk, a triple by Noah Parker, a hit batter, and a Kiwanis error.

In the top of the fifth Kiwanis scored five runs to take a 10-7 lead. Three walks, a Kyle Townsend base hit, a triple by Ivey and a Dysart's error accounted for the Kiwanis runs. Dysarts came back in the bottom half of the inning with five runs of their own to take a 12-10 lead. Singles by Jacob Michaud and Dan Wirta, and a three run home run by Good, along with a triple by Parker and singles from Joey Doyon, Ryan Richards, and Ryan Manning attributed to the Dysarts scoring.

Kiwanis threatened in the top of the sixth, scoring one run on a bases loaded error by Dysart's. Kiwanis left the bases loaded and trailing by one run on a pop up to second base to end the game.
