HAMPDEN - At Bordick Park Sunday afternoon, the Holbrook Red Junior League baseball team scored 14 runs over the final three innings to put away the Hampden Rounders 18-10.
Holbrook scored 18 runs on nine hits and committed two errors. Hitting for Holbrook was Nolan Webber with four singles and two RBIs, John Deshaine with two singles and an RBI, Shawn Curran with a single and an RBI, and Parker Benson and Ethan Handley each with a single.
Hampden had 10 runs on 16 hits and made eight errors. Hitters for Hampden were Roy Donnelly with two singles, a double, and four runs scored, Sam Ward with two doubles and two RBIs, Sage Rapp with two singles and an RBI, Keegan Quigley and Michael Ward with two singles each, Matt Hammond with a single and two RBIs, and Sam Jordan, Erik Hansen, Josh Kocic, and Sam Donnelly each had a single.
