Saturday afternoon in Hampden, Billy Campbell single handedly accounted for nearly one third of the total runs scored as the Anglers remained undefeated with a 21-8 victory over Dysarts. Evan Clark picked up the win for Anglers from the mound. The Anglers scored 20 plus runs in two games on Saturday, and improved to 6-0 on the season.
Campbell tripled to deep right field in the second inning, as the ball clanked off the bottom of the fence on the fly, and he then scored on a throwing error.
The Anglers broke open a 1-1 tie in the third inning scoring 11 runs to take a 12-1 lead. Campbell provided the highlights when Ben Huston, Eric Armstrong, and Cam Scott all reached base to load the bases. Campbell then went opposite field again sending the ball over the right field fence for a grand slam home run putting the Anglers on top 5-1. Campbell came up again in the inning and drove in his fifth run of the inning to help the Anglers take an 11 run lead.
Campbell doubled for the second time in the game in the fifth inning to help the Anglers increase their lead to 21-5 before Dysarts added three runs in the top of the sixth highlighted by a two run double from Jared Grodewald to cut the Anglers lead to 21-8 before time ran out on Dysarts in the inning.
Campbell finished with 11 total bases on two doubles, a triple, and a home run while driving in six runs and scoring three.

In an earlier game, FA Peabody came from behind to record a 13-7 victory over Sargent&Sargent in majors action.
