Majors-Minors Thursday night action

Little League season is upon us, and any night Monday through Friday along with Saturday morning and afternoon, you can find lots of little league baseball action in Hampden. The Canoe Club Road minors field and VFW road majors field heats up near May 1 and continues through the third week of June.

Thursday night on the Minors field, Rotary and VFW squared off and excited the many parents and family members with lots of hitting and exciting defensive plays.

On the Majors field Thursday night, F.A. Peabody took a 3-1 lead into the fifth inning before exploding for seven runs to take a 10-1 lead to pick up a win over Dysarts.
