Tuesday night in Majors action, Dysarts scored three runs in the top of the first inning and never gave up the lead as they defeated Dirigo 6-4. Dysart's improved to 8-8 with the win, while Dirigo fell to 11-4.
A Noah Parker single and Paxton Oversmith double plated the three runs in the first inning for Dysarts. They added two more in the top of the fourth on a double by Parker.
Dirigo plated three runs in the bottom of the fourth on three Dysart's errors. They added one more run in the bottom of the sixth on a Brandon Maillet double and a Dysart error.
Leading Dysart's in hitting was Parker with a single and double, and Oversmith with a double. Joey Doyon added a single. Daniel Good was the winning pitcher.
Dirigo was led by Maillet with a double, and Kyle Clifford, Dakota Sudbeck, and Matt Harris all with a single.
