At Ball Field Road in Hampden Tuesday night, Sportshoe defeated Lafayette 18-10 in Minor softball action after the rains came and the skies cleared in time for the start of the game.
Caroline Sequin led Sportshoe at the plate with two singles and a triple. Kerry Quigley was the winning pitcher from inside the circle.
