FA Peabody 9 run inning leads to victory over Dysarts

Monday night in Majors action at Hampden, FA Peabody scored nine runs in the fourth inning to take the lead for good as they defeated Dysarts 18-11.

Dysart's scored two runs in the first inning only to be answered by FA Peabody's three runs in the bottom of the first. Dysart's scored four more runs in the second with the bottom of the order providing the hits needed. FA Peabody came back to plate four runs making the score at the end of the second inning 7-6 with FA Peabody leading the game.

Dysart's took the lead in the top of the fourth by scoring four runs,however,when Peabody came to the plate in the bottom of the fourth they were ready and provided enough hits to score nine runs as they batted around the order.

The starting pitcher for FA Peabody was Nick Haggan, who pitched into the second inning before Luther Vom Eigen was called in relief. Vom Eigen pitched into the sixth inning until he reached his pitch count with two outs in the top of the sixth. A call to Tyler Arbo proved to be enough, as he pitched well enough to strikeout the last batter of the game.

Ryan Manning pitched for Dysart's, throwing very well throughout and reaching his pitch count late in the game to be relieved by Dan Wirta.

The winning pitcher of the game was Vom Eigen. Leading Peabody at the plate was Vom Eigen with a double and single, Matt Martin with a home run, and Arbo with two singles.

Dysarts was led by Noah Parker and Manning each with two singles, and Joey Doyon with a single.
