Kiwanis scored all their runs in the third inning, and led 3-0 heading into the bottom of the fourth inning. Peabody got thier first hit of the game and their first run on one swing of the bat in the bottom of the fourth.

Matt Martin drilled a towering home run over the left field fence that landed on the outfield grass of the Minor league field to make it a 3-1 game.
Peabody picked up one more run in the bottom of the sixth inning on an RBI single by Nick Haggan, but came up short when Kiwanis pitcher Ben Foster got the final out on a called third strike with the tying and winning runs stranded at second and third base.
Vidas had a single and two RBIs to top Kiwanis. Vince Gilmore, Isaac Foster, Robert Stowe, and Richie Rawcliffe each added a single, and James Gilmore had an RBI.

Ben Foster picked up the win on the mound pitching six innings, allowing three hits, and striking out six.
Martin had a home run, Jeremy Kelsey a double, and Haggan an RBI single to lead Peabody. Kelsey gave a solid performance on the mound in relief. He came into the game with the bases loaded and no outs in the third inning, gave up one hit to the first batter, and shut the door on Kiwanis the rest of the way. He worked four innings, allowing just one hit and striking out one.
